A size label doesn't tell the whole story.
Shopping by a standard number leaves a lot of people guessing. Here are three everyday reasons the right hat can be hard to find.
Sizing that skips people
Standard sizes assume an average head. People with smaller, larger, or differently shaped heads are often left choosing between uncomfortable or nothing at all.
Hair needs room
Afros, braids, locs, and other styles change the space and shape a hat needs to sit well. A size label rarely accounts for the hair under the hat.
Comfort is personal
People experiencing hair loss or thinning hair may have different preferences for coverage, softness, and style—preferences a size chart can't capture.

Is Kofia available now?
Not yet. Kofia is in development. Join the waitlist and we'll share product updates and launch details once they're confirmed.
Who is it being designed for?
People who find standard hat sizing frustrating—including those with voluminous or protective hairstyles, head sizes outside the usual range, and anyone whose comfort and coverage needs aren't met by a size label. If finding a hat that fits has been hard, we're building with you in mind.
How would recommendations differ from an AR preview?
They do two different jobs. Recommendations draw on measurements and product details to suggest options that could fit. An AR preview helps you explore how a hat looks on you. A preview on its own doesn't confirm physical fit.
Where does Kofia intend to launch first?
Our intended initial focus is Kenya and the United States. This is a starting direction, not a confirmed launch schedule.
What happens when I join the waitlist?
